Virtual Tour Founded 1964, the Applied English Center (AEC) is one of the largest (over 350 students from 30+ countries) intensive English programs in the USA, and is in the center of the University of Kansas (KU). The program's 5 levels focus on English for academic purposes, including cultural adaptation to the USA and university life.
